We’re constantly searching for the best food at Disney World.
From seasonal items to new menu additions — you can constantly find us digging into something tasty. How else would we tell you what’s worth trying at Disney World?! So, for research, we re-reviewed a hearty menu item from Flame Tree Barbecue!
Over in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, you can find the Flame Tree Barbecue! This location has tons of seasonal items, filling entrees, and adult beverages. But today, we’re focusing on their Ribs and Chicken Combo for $15.69! Obviously, as the name suggests, it comes with Ribs and Chicken, served with Signature Baked Beans and Coleslaw.
Let’s dig in! We’ll start off with the meats. The ribs are juicy and packed with flavor. They didn’t fall off the bone; however, the barbecue sauce saved the day.
The chicken by itself was a bit dry…but the flavor from the skin really helped make up for it. And, once again, the barbecue sauce helped overpower the dryness of the meat.
Onto the sides! The baked beans were really good. They were definitely on the sweeter side, so fans of sweet baked beans will enjoy this.
The slaw was pretty standard — creamy, without a strong vinegar taste. We enjoyed it!
Overall, this is a great option for those wanting a hearty meal in Animal Kingdom. It’s also a ton of food, so it can be shared.
