Disney World is no stranger to severe weather.

Central Florida frequently sees rain storms, high temperatures, and even hurricanes appear in the area. Today, a storm has led to an advisory in the Orange County area where Disney World is located.

A Flood Advisory has been issued for Orange and Seminole counties in Florida, where parts of Disney World are located. The advisory is due to “excessive rainfall”, according to WESH2. According to the notice, the advisory will be in effect until 5:30PMEST.

According to the advisory, minor flooding is “ongoing or expected”, with heavy rain due to thunderstorms in the area. This will see the most impact in low-lying and poor drainage areas, along with roadways.

So, what does this mean if you’re currently in the parks? The parks are no stranger to rain and bad weather, but you will always want to seek shelter if you need to during a rainstorm or thunderstorm.
