If you have, it might have completely changed your perspective on the ride! There’s a lot hiding in dark rides that we can’t see, but sometimes when rides break down and/or get evacuated, the lights will be turned on and you’ll get to see a whole new world. One of the most coveted rides to see with its lights on is Space Mountain — and we have a look for you!
We hopped on the PeopleMover to take a ride around Tomorrowland (and check out the updated construction on TRON!) when we were surprised by a fully lit Space Mountain! Warning: these pictures might make you reconsider ever sticking your hands up on the ride again.

This doesn’t happen very often, so it’s pretty cool to see!

You would think one of the most popular rides in Disney World work look pretty fancy inside, right? Well, Space Mountain obviously doesn’t need to be, because you can barely see anything when you’re riding it!

It’s just a LOT of metal framing and supports for the coaster track.
Everything is pretty bare bones!
