From pretzels to popcorn, and of course the classic churros — sometimes it doesn’t even feel like you’ve visited Disneyland unless you’ve had one of these eats. But there’s another classic theme park treat that Disney has put a springtime twist on, and we’re giving you our full review!
The Strawberry Lemonade Funnel Cake is available now at the Stage Door Cafe in Disneyland!
Strawberry Lemonade Funnel Cake
It’s made from strawberry-lemonade funnel cake batter and topped with strawberry sauce, lemonade frosting, fresh strawberries, and whipped cream.
Springtime wrapped up in a dessert!
We really enjoyed this dessert! The tartness from the lemonade and sweetness from the strawberries made the perfect pairing and balanced each other out nicely. It really did taste like strawberry lemonade.
Can funnel cakes be refreshing?
The fruity flavors also made this a pretty refreshing dessert, and the funnel cake itself stayed nice and crispy on the outside, but perfectly fluffy on the inside.
We love a good funnel cake.
If you don’t like sour desserts or strawberries, you should probably skip this one! But, if you’re looking for a sweet and sour combo or just love strawberries, you should give it a try. You can get it for $8.99. Be sure to stay tuned to DFB for more Disneyland food news and updates!
