Technical Issues Temporarily Shut DOWN an EPCOT Festival Booth

UPDATE: Pineapple Promenade has reopened since the publishing of this post.

Looking for a DOLE Whip in EPCOT? Normally we’d tell you to head to the Pineapple Promenade booth right now because that’s where you can find this sweet treat at the EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival. BUT…you might have a bit of an issue getting your DOLE Whip there at the moment.

Today this booth was experiencing a problem that could lead to a complication in your DOLE Whip plans!

As we were walking through EPCOT, we noticed that the Pineapple Promenade booth was DOWN.

If you’re not familiar with it, Pineapple Promenade is a booth at the Flower and Garden Festival that typically serves up DOLE Whip (as we mentioned above) and other pineapple-inspired items (no surprise there!).

This year, the menu includes a Spicy Hot Dog with pineapple chutney and plantain chips, DOLE Whip, and some drinks, including our beloved Frozen Desert Violet Lemonade!

We saw guests waiting at this booth, but when we spoke to a Cast Member we were informed that the line for the booth had been CLOSED because the booth was experiencing some issues (the guests in line were just waiting for their items, which they had already ordered).

When we spoke with a Cast Member, they informed us that the booth was down at the moment and that they would not be selling anything for now due to some technical issues. The Cast Member shared that their machines had gone down and they are waiting for the technical support team to come and fix the problem.

The Cast Member did note that they should be open later, as soon as their technical issues are resolved.

So if you’re heading to the Festival and hoping to grab a DOLE Whip or a Frozen Desert Violet Lemonade at Pineapple Promenade, you’ll have to wait until these issues are resolved. Of course, keep in mind this post was written based on our experience at the time. If you’ll be going to EPCOT today, be sure to check and see if the booth has reopened by the time you visit.
