If you consider yourself a caramel connoisseur like us, then there’s ONE place that you NEED to visit in Disney World — Karamell-Kuche.

Karamell-Kuche
Located in the Germany Pavilion at EPCOT, this spot serves up all kinds of caramel treats and we’ve been known to pick a few seasonal favorites from here including the Salted Caramel Cupcake and the Pumpkin Caramel Cupcake. So, when these treats make their return each year, it’s a BIG deal around here and today we learned that a seasonal snack that’s been holding on well past its season will go away soon.
The popular Gingerbread Salted Caramel Buttercream Sandwich Cookie made its annual return back in November (which was a bit later than we’ve seen in the past) for the holiday season at Karamell-Kuche and we all breathed a sigh of relief. Now, this treat is SUPER popular for a reason — it’s delicious. But it’s also technically a holiday treat, and, well, the holidays in Disney World ended two months ago (though they did hang on for a bit at the end there).
However, we’ve been seeing this snack turn up nearly every day inside the shop, even well after the holidays. In fact, we even checked today, and there it was!
But, it won’t be around much longer.
A Cast Member told us they’ve been offering it for so long because so many guests ask for it (and we TOTALLY get why). HOWEVER, it is scheduled to go away at the end of the month and likely won’t be available AT ALL when we turn the calendar to March. That means if you’re wanting to indulge in this treat, you’ll need to get to EPCOT ASAP.
If you can’t get there, you’ll have to wait until the holiday season to grab it again (and hopefully, it will return). We’ve seen it return early, so FINGERS CROSSED. 🤞
And, we’ll keep you updated on all snacks at Disney World, so stay tuned to DFB for more!
