Life is like a box of chocolates…you never know what you’re going to get.

Le Petit Cafe
Trust us — we’ve eaten our share of chocolate things recently, too, and no truer words were ever spoken. From a chocolate love letter cupcake to a cake with an edible engagement ring on top to chocolate-dipped Mickey Krispie treats, our hands have been covered in chocolate. Yes, it must be Valentine’s Day weekend. So we’re trying ANOTHER Valentine’s Day treat, but this time…it’s three treats in one box.
We’re generally obsessed with all the goodies at Le Petit Cafe at Disney’s Riviera Resort. Just one look in its case is enough to make us drool — like LOOK at this photo — see what we mean?

Pastry Case
So when we heard there’s a new special Valentine’s Day offering here, we made a beeline to pick it up. And it’s actually three treats! The Chocolate Box comes in, well, a box — just like your usual Valentine’s Day chocolates.

The cutest box of chocolates
But it’s what’s inside this box that counts — because look at the yumminess! There’s a Macaron, a Chocolate-Dipped Strawberry, and an itty bitty Chocolate Cake with an Edible Chocolate Stamp on top. Yes, please!

YUM!
The chocolate box is made of high quality chocolate — it tasted much better than your average Hershey bar. The Macaron had a mild strawberry taste, but it was baked well. We thought it could’ve packed a bit more punch

Look at that perfect macaron
The Chocolate-Dipped Strawberry was not too tart and mixed perfectly with the chocolate coating.

Chocolate and strawberries ALWAYS go together
The Mini Chocolate Cake was super moist! It wasn’t too dry or dense, and it is definitely for the people who love cake more than frosting. There was just a little bit on top, so if you are a huge frosting fan, this might not be your favorite cake.

So cute!
However, the frosting was very sweet, so we think this was a good amount for the amount of cake! There was no filling in the cake.

So moist!
All in all, we’d say this is one of the best boxes of chocolate you’ll find at Disney World, especially if you love strawberries and chocolate. It’s only available for a limited-time, though, so if you want to grab this, it’s $12. Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone!
