WHEN ‘Hocus Pocus 2’ is Set to Premiere on Disney+!

We’re already looking forward to Halloween!

You’re jokin’, you’re jokin’, I can’t believe my eyes!

There’s so much to love about Halloween, especially if you’re a Disney fan. There’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, all of the spooky snacks, and of course, our favorite villains always come out to play. We just found another reason to be extra excited for Halloween this year, and it has something to do with three iconic witch sisters.

We’ve already had a first look at what the sequel to Hocus Pocus was going to look like, and Bette Midler has announced via her Twitter that production had wrapped on the movie. Now, we have an official release date! According to Entertainment Weekly, Hocus Pocus 2 will premiere on Disney+ on September 30th this year!

As if the Halloween season couldn’t get any better, we now have a spooky new movie to look forward to! Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimi will all be reprising their roles as the Sanderson Sisters for this movie, and they will be joined by Tony Hale, Sam Richardson, Hannah Waddingham, Whitney Peak, Lilia Buckingham, Belissa Escobedo, Doug Jones, Juju Brenner, Froy Gutierrez, Taylor Henderson and Nina Kitchen.

The sequel will follow three young women who accidentally bring the Sanderson Sisters back, and have to stop the trio from wreaking havoc on Salem. The movie is directed by Anne Fletcher with a script by Jen D’Angelo.
