We know we’re in the middle of the Festival of the Arts at EPCOT, but the park’s International Flower & Garden Festival is coming up soon!
The festival begins on March 2nd and will run allll the way until July 4th, 2022 — that’s a whopping 125 days. It will be filled with fresh flower topiaries, fun entertainment, and delicious food. We already know what booths are returning to the festival, but Disney also just told us everything NEW that’s coming to Flower and Garden!
The first new thing coming to the festival will be a new main entrance display featuring Goofy with a birthday cake to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World! This sounds similar to the topiary that’s currently in front of Magic Kingdom featuring Mickey and Minnie with a birthday cake.
Something else new at the festival for 2022 is a new fragrant garden presented by Scentsy! It will feature vibrant butterfly topiaries and guests will be invited to follow their noses to 6 scent stations — floral, fruity, citrus, spice, woods, and fresh. Disney says this will allow guests to form lasting memories with the help of unforgettable aromas.
Disney also said there will be new menu items at The Citrus Blossom, Magnolia Terrace, and Tangierine Café: Flavors of the Medina, among others. We can’t wait to see what’s coming!
And finally, the Seven Dwarfs will be getting a makeover for Flower & Garden Festival! The Horticulture teams at Disney World are designing, planting, and shaping new topiaries of the Dwarfs to be in the Germany pavilion with Snow White.
That’s everything new we know about so far coming to EPCOT’s Flower & Garden Festival this year! We’ll be on the lookout for the booth menus — Disney says they should be out by late February — so stay tuned to DFB for news and updates.
