Amid cancelled shows and staffing issues, one band has made their return to Disney World!
Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
Live entertainment and shows have been slowly coming back to Disney World. A Celebration of the Festival of the Lion King and the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular are both currently running, and the 2022 Festival of the Arts at EPCOT has all kinds of live entertainment. We were at Disney’s Animal Kingdom when we spotted the return of this band!
The Viva Gaia Street Band is BACK at Discovery Island! This Caribbean influenced band is performing for guests again for the first time since 2020.

Chakranadi and Kora Tinga Tinga already made their return to the park in October, so we’re super happy to see Viva Gaia join them! The show encourages guests to dance along to the music — it’s one of the most interactive shows at Disney World!

More popular entertainment offerings are coming back to Disney World this year including an updated Cinderella Castle stage show in Magic Kingdom (which Disney is already casting for), a new cavalcade in Magic Kingdom, and Fantasmic! in Disney’s Hollywood Studios! And today, we spotted the return of Olaf’s meet and greet in Hollywood Studios!
