We’re at the first day of EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts!
This festival is a celebration of all things visual, culinary, and performing arts. In between all of the tasty food and all of the unique photo ops, we made sure to check out all of the entertainment that the festival offers.
Musical theatre fans will want to check out the Disney on Broadway Concert Series! The show performs at the American Gardens Theatre in the American Adventure Pavilion. We saw a performance of the classic song, “Circle of Life,” from The Lion King!

Of course, it wouldn’t be an EPCOT festival without the JAMMitors!
If you want to watch some fun performance art, don’t miss Art Defying Gravity — which is literally what these performers do!
Looking for something truly jaw-dropping? Then check out Visual Art in Performance! Your favorite Disney characters are brought to life on canvas in a matter of minutes!
And while chalk art may at first glance be visual art, if you’re lucky enough to see the artists at work, it sort of feels like a performance in and of itself!
Guests can also participate in a Paint-by-Number Mural in the Expression Section daily until 5PM! A Cast Member will give you a paint color of your choice and a brush, and you get to paint 5 designated squares. When the mural is finished, it will look like Van Gogh’s Starry Night (with a hint of EPCOT), and you get a bookmark after painting!
It’s really fun to watch the mural come to life!
It wouldn’t be the EPCOT Festival of the Arts if we didn’t paint our own square on the Expression Section mural 🎨 pic.twitter.com/ZZZdvuGLVk

Spin Art is also back this year! You get to hop on a stationary bike to create your very own unique artwork by pedaling.
This year, one experience costs $19, while two experiences cost $30. Your art is generally dry and ready to take home 15 minutes after you complete it!
And don’t forget to look out for musical performances around the World Showcase!
