Disney World may be the most magical place on Earth, but sometimes, things still don’t go according to plan.

Disney’s Contemporary Resort

We’ve seen rides evacuated, animatronics fail, attractions shut down due to bad weather, and more. And today, one Disney World bar has closed due to a leak.

That bar is the Outer Rim at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Yesterday, we noticed that there was a ceiling leak near the bar and several ceiling tiles were missing.

Cast Members had cordoned off the area to keep guests away. Security and additional Cast Members were standing by to make sure that guests didn’t enter the area.

Today, we noticed that The Outer Rim was closed and had construction walls around it — this will most likely be the case until the ceiling is repaired.

UPDATE: The seating in the Outer Rim has reopened to guests, but the actual bar hasn’t fully reopened just yet. However, the Outer Rim does plan to welcome visitors back later in the evening!

In the surrounding construction area, we noticed that fresh paint had been placed on the ceiling where the previous leak had affected the resort.
