Disney World’s 18-month-long 50th Anniversary celebration has officially begun and we are in the parks experiencing it all! This morning, we made our way to Magic Kingdom bright and early to see all of the new things the park has to offer. During our trip, we found a NEW popcorn treat, but we must give you a word of warning about this one!

Over at the popcorn cart in Adventureland, we found a special new popcorn snack that has just arrived for the 50th Anniversary celebration. Introducing the NEW Pineapple-Coconut Glazed Popcorn!!

We have to admit, the description of Pineapple-Coconut Glazed Popcorn is very intriguing! Would it taste like pina colada popcorn?!

Unfortunately, the answer to that (at least for us) is “not quite.” The popcorn tasted sweet, but we didn’t really get those pineapple or coconut flavors. It seems the pineapple-coconut glaze just provided an extra touch of sweetness to the popcorn, but not any of those signature tropical flavors.

So, if you’re looking for a sweeter version of Disney World’s popcorn, this might be a good pick. If you want a treat that actually tastes like pineapple and coconut, you’ll want to look elsewhere.
