One of the most special features of Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration takes place after the sun goes down. Across all four theme parks, a special nighttime transformation will take place as the park icons become “Beacons of Magic.”

We’ve already seen Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom and Spaceship Earth in EPCOT take on this new nighttime look, and now we’re in Disney’s Animal Kingdom to check out Tree of Life’s transformation!

As the sunset and it began to get dark around Animal Kingdom, we anxiously waited for Tree of Life to become a Beacon of Magic! Expectations were pretty high after we were blown away by Cinderella Castle and Spaceship Earth.

Then, it was time to see the new nighttime lighting!

The colors rotated between bright hues of red, blue, green, purple, and more!

We love seeing out each of the four park icons have their own unique spin on being a “Beacon of Magic” during the 50th Anniversary Celebration.

It truly is a beautiful sight with all of the animal carvings around the Tree of Life!
