Disney World Has What We Didn't Know We Needed…Drinkable Candy Corn!

Halloween has arrived at Disney World in full force and we’re been bringing you along for all the fall happenings!

It’s Halloween!

So far, we’ve brought you a look at all the decorations on Main Street, U.S.A., shared ALL of the new Halloween merchandise available in the parks (and even online), and soon we’ll be headed to Magic Kingdom for BOO Bash. But, before we can deck out in our best costume for the party, we’re eating our way through all of the new Halloween treats in the parks and resorts!

We already brought you our review of the Halloween Lunch Box Tart from Woody’s Lunch Box in Disney’s Hollywood Studios and now we’re headed over to Hollywood Scoops for more!

Beginning today through October 31st, guests can stop by to pick up the newest ice-cream creation — the Halloween Shake! It is a candy corn ice cream shake topped with a vanilla cake donut, whipped cream, spooky sprinkles, AND candy corn for $9.49.

We’re excited about this one!

Honestly, this thing is super Instagrammable…a milkshake topped with a bundt cake?! Come on!

It has a CAKE on top.

But, does it live up to candy corn lovers’ standards? Well, we thought it was top-notch! The shake itself reminded us a lot of one that they used to have at Auntie Gravity’s a few years ago. And there were even a few little pieces of candy corn mixed into the shake itself!

Surprisingly delicious!

The one we saw at Auntie Gravity’s back in 2018 was exclusive to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. It was topped with cotton candy and a marshmallow instead of the bundt cake and it was leaning slightly more towards a vanilla-flavored shake as opposed to straight candy corn. We think this year’s model is quite an improvement!

As far as the cake topping the shake goes, it wasn’t anything too special. It was definitely more like a donut-shaped cake instead of an actual cake donut. It’s a simple vanilla flavor without too much going on, but if that’s what you’re looking for, you’ll enjoy it! The icing on top is actually white chocolate, which was a yummy surprise we weren’t expecting.

It’s like getting two desserts in one.

Besides all that, be prepared to eat LOTS of whipped cream, sprinkles, and candy corn because they went heavy on the garnish. (We certainly don’t mind, though. 😜)
