Disney World’s Grand Floridian Resort offers quite a few places to dine.
One of those spots, 1900 Park Fare, is known for serving one of the most unique dishes in Disney World — Strawberry Soup. It’s not a smoothie, but a cold, sweet soup. However, 1900 Park Fare is currently closed, so where can we get Strawberry Soup?? We’ll tell ya!
Today we visited the Grand Floridian Cafe, which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner for moderate prices. Seasonal Soup is listed on the menu, and when we asked our server, we were told Tomato Bisque is the official seasonal soup.
However, we also learned from our server that there’s a second, SECRET soup offering, and you guessed it — it’s STRAWBERRY SOUP! So if you have a craving for Strawberry Soup, visit the Grand Floridian Cafe and ask for it! It’s not on the menu, but it’s there!!
The Strawberry Soup is served chilled! It’s super refreshing and it is not overly sweet at all. So don’t let that deter you! The slight sweetness it’s just natural sweetness from the strawberries and it is definitely not super sickening sweet by any means. We love the fresh whipped cream on top that gives it a little bit of added sweetness but again very very refreshing on a hot day! It does have a smooth texture, but there are a few blended strawberries that you’re going to get and then of course the strawberry seeds! Plus it’s bright pink! Its unique taste secured a spot on our Best Disney Soups list.
We also had the Grand Breakfast, which is Two Eggs served with Bacon, Sausage, and Cheesy Hash Brown Casserole.
Seasonal Soup is located on the menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, so make a reservation and order the Strawberry Soup for yourself any time of day! Stay tuned to DFB for a full review of Grand Floridian Cafe!
