Simba…What Has Disney Done To You?!

Disney World is constantly coming out with new merchandise all over the parks. Most of the time you will find long lines and empty shelves because of how many people want these new items.

We do occasionally come across some items that leave us wondering if someone had one too many drinks from Nomad Lounge before giving the green light. While walking around Disney’s Animal Kingdom, we came across something that will legitimately keep you up at night!

While shopping in Mombasa Marketplace today, one of our reporters found the MOST TERRIFYING version of Simba we have ever laid our eyes on. Here, take a look for yourself.

We will NOT be sleeping tonight.

Why did Disney do Simba dirty like that?! This thing is seriously what nightmares are made of. When you compare it to the other Simba merchandise in the store it makes it even worse. This big feet Simba plush is adorable!

I mean look at how cute this one is.

They even have a Disney Babies Simba Plush Doll in a pouch in the parks as well as online at shopDisney that put “Nightmare Simba” to shame.

So adorable

Just about every other piece of The Lion King merch features Simba looking cute or fierce, but we don’t know what happened here.

We are sure there are some folks that want to add this to their collection. If you are one of those people, we found “Nightmare Simba” in Mombasa Marketplace at Animal Kingdom for $19.99. As for us, we will be steering clear of this one!
