We’ve been keeping a close eye on updates and news from the cruise line industry.
Disney Cruise Line recently postponed their scheduled test cruises and extended final payment dates. However, other cruise lines have been able to move forward with sailings.
That includes Carnival Cruise Line, whose ship, the Carnival Vista, is set to sail on Saturday afternoon out of Galveston, Texas. As CNBC reported, this will mark the company’s first U.S. cruise since operations were halted due to the pandemic.
In order to sail, passengers must show proof of vaccination, or be pre-approved for an exemption by Carnival.
We’ll continue to be on the lookout for other cruise news and updates, including further information on the postponed Disney Cruise Line test cruises, so stay tuned for the latest information.
