You can watch documentaries (like the upcoming Behind the Attractions series), check out museum displays, or pick up great books to learn about some of these things. But if you want to learn all these secrets and more in person, there’s a special event in Disney World you might want to go to!

We’re talking about Destination D23!! If you’re unfamiliar with it, Destination D23 is a Disney fan event led by D23. During this event, fans can be among the first to hear exciting announcements about upcoming projects, get behind-the-scenes info, hear from special guests, and more.

Last year, D23 postponed their 2020 Destination D fan event until 2021, and now we’ve got an update on where and when this event will be held!

Destination D23 will take place this year in Walt Disney World in Disney’s Contemporary Resort from November 19th through the 21st!

D23 will be celebrating Disney World’s 50th Anniversary and more during this special event.

Want to attend Destination D23? D23 Gold Members will be able to purchase tickets for the event when they go on sale in July. You can visit the D23 website to learn more about becoming a member if you aren’t one already.

We can’t wait to see what special news will be shared at this event. If you’re looking for more Disney fan events, the D23 Expo will be taking place next year (2022) in Anaheim.
