Father’s Day is just a few days away, and we’re checking out some of the seasonal treats around Disney World that celebrate all things, dad!
Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts
We’ve already tried the Father and Son Cupcake, and now we’re heading to The Market at Ale & Compass at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort to check out the Father’s Day Blondie!
The Father’s Day Blondie is a Peanut Butter Blondie with layers of Almond and Peanut Butter, Chocolate-Caramel Ganache, Chocolate-Caramel Crunch, Crisp Pearls, and a Peanut Butter Crunch. Now, say it with us: the garnish on top supposed to be a CIGAR. A CIGAR.
Father’s Day Blondie
The color and texture kind of makes it look a little weird and not so cigar-like 💩 (haven’t we been here before?)! It makes us think back to the rather STUNNING Mother’s Day treats we saw, like the Mother’s Day Mimosa Miniature Gâteau and the Mother’s Day Butterfly Cupcake. Dad kinda got the short end of the stick when it comes to presentation. But that doesn’t mean it won’t taste stellar!
Yeah, we know, it looks funny!
Once we got the giggles out of our system and moved past the odd look of this dish, we took a bite — and we loved it! The peanut butter flavor was the most prominent, both in smell and in taste! It had more of an almond after note once you get through the peanut butter.
We promise, it’s delicious!
Not only does this snack have a lovely flavor, the texture was also spot on! It comes with a nice crunch that totally won us over.
Father’s Day Blondie
Despite its appearances, this is a great dessert to enjoy the holiday with the special guy in your life. You can pick up this treat and share a laugh with dad for $5.99 at The Market at Ale & Compass at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, or Beach Club Marketplace at Disney’s Beach Club Resort!
