This fall will be a very exciting time for Disney World!

Get ready for some magic!
On October 1st, Disney World will celebrate its 50th anniversary and with that comes to opening of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and La Creperie de Paris, new character costumes, and new looks for each park icon. Now, we’ve got an update on some brand new entertainment coming to Disney World!
Entertainment has been very different in Disney World since its reopening in July with many live performances currently unavailable — like Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage and Finding Nemo the Musical. However, we have recently learned that Festival of the Lion King in Disney’s Animal Kingdom is set to return in mid-May!

Today, though, Cirque du Soleil’s CEO dropped some news regarding the new show coming to Disney Springs called Drawn to Life. In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, CEO Daniel Lamarre talked about how the show Mystère will return on June 28th, and O will return on July 1st in Las Vegas. When asked about Drawn to Life, Lamarre shared some details regarding the brand new show!

The CEO mentioned that Cirque was working on a new opening date for Drawn to Life and that they “should be able to open sometime in the fall.” He also mentioned that the Cirque du Soleil team felt “honored to have the opportunity to do a show with the IP [intellectual property] of Disney.”

Tickets were available for Drawn to Life a while back, but they have remained unavailable since January of this year. This comes after several delays for the show. There is still no set opening date for the new Disney and Cirque show, but we will keep you updated as soon as it is announced. Stay tuned to DFB for the latest news in Disney entertainment!
