We’ve been keeping up with the 50th anniversary makeover that Cinderella Castle has been getting. It is LOOKING AMAZING!
LOOK at these gorgeous details!
It all started with a new paint job, but then we watched as beautiful drapes were added to the towers and pretty gold ribbons were added to the spires. This ain’t the Pepto-pink castle from 25 years ago!
But if you’re like us, and want to know how they did that, Disney Imagineer Zach Riddley just recently shared a timelapse video of how the ribbons are being installed on the spires. And they did it by digitally modeling each turret on the castle so the ribbons would be a perfect fit. Just wow!
We’re not gonna lie…it totes looks like they’re putting a really big hat on the spire. 😂
