REVIEW: Pooh Might LOVE Our Snack at Disney’s Blizzard Beach, But Do We?

In case you missed it, we’ve been LIVE at the reopening of Blizzard Beach all day!

Eating at the Warming Hut!

Although we had some fun on the water slides, we also checked out some new menus, and learned about refillable beverages at the water park. All that running around made us hungry, and we gotta’ eat!

So we decided to head over to the Warming Hut to take a little break and eat some food! We settled on the Honey Butter-Chicken Sandwich, which is a fried chicken patty topped with honey and butter on a bun! We’re all about some sweet and savory, so why not?

The chicken was well-cooked and had a load of flavor. But we have to admit we would have liked more honey butter and a bigger patty. The pickles added a nice crunch to the whole, though. As far as the bun goes — well, let’s just say it was a little hard. We didn’t break a tooth on it, but it tasted like it was roasted a little too long or was just stale.

It’s served with a side of chips. We went with Classic Lay’s, not because we’re basic, but because we just sometimes want a salty potato because that’s all you need!

This is obviously not a fancy restaurant meal. But it’s also just an okay theme park meal. Disney World has a lot of better quick service options now, but it seems that the memo that Disney World has upped its quick service game hasn’t arrived at Blizzard Beach yet. But for $10.49, it was — at least — satisfying.
