It’s officially Valentine’s Day weekend, and that means Disney World is FILLED with special holiday snacks, pink-colored merch, and heart-shaped everything!

It also means it’s time for some romantic cocktails, and we found the most alluring special at a margarita mainstay in Disney Springs!
At Frontera Cocina, chef Rick Bayless knows a thing or two about flavor combinations. The menus here blow us away with delicious eats and fun drinks, and for Valentine’s Day, their latest special does not disappoint!

The Valentine’s Day Margarita, called the “Love Potion,” looks like a bouquet of roses, but instead of putting them in a vase and smelling them, this is one you can drink!

The rosy, floral drink is made with Casa Noble blanco tequila, orange liqueur, fresh lime juice, agave nectar, and pomegranate cordial.

It’s smooth and sweet, light on tequila flavor and heavier on the pomegranate. It’s finished with a rose popcorn salt rim, and a smattering of juicy pomegranate seeds! That salt has a buttery popcorn aftertaste, which can be a love it or hate it kinda flavor (spoiler alert: we love). It doesn’t overpower the margarita, but you can certainly taste the buttery popcorn flavor.

Between the subtle saltiness, the sweetness, and the tartness from the lime and pomegranate, this is one well-balanced drink that you’re sure to swoon for, especially if you like margaritas that aren’t too tequila-centric!
