A Villain, A Bear, and A Princess Walk Into Magic Kingdom… .

We saw a LOT of friendly (and not so friendly) faces in Magic Kingdom yesterday!

We took a spin around Magic Kingdom yesterday and spotted a lot of our favorite characters out and about. Honestly, they were having an INTERESTING day! Take a look at these characters plus MORE updates on construction and merchandise from Disney’s flagship park!

Character Cavalcades

First up, let’s talk about those characters! The Princess Cavalcade looked pretty different yesterday as the main float was completely MISSING. So most of the princesses were hoofing it!

The smaller gazebo float was still there so Tiana and Rapunzel were lucky enough to keep their ride.

Then later we saw MORE character fun when Wendell, the Country Bear, was out as the Fantasyland Friends Cavalcade road through. Sure enough, he had a pretty silly interaction with Gaston…

…and Peter Pan and Aladdin said hi too! And we got video of the whole thing!

Peter Pan’s Flight still has construction barriers surrounding the queue and now the walls have been expanded slightly.

When we got to Magic Kingdom yesterday, we were surprised to notice that the Liberty Belle Riverboat and Tom Sawyer Island were closed.

But they reopened a few hours later so, luckily, the closure didn’t seem too serious.

As we left in the afternoon, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train saw some downtime too, but we noticed it was up and running later.

Magic Kingdom Merchandise Updates

Emporium

As for merchandise, we spotted a new Blue Castle Beanie at the Main Street Emporium for $24.99. This is perfect for those chillier evenings!

This spot also had those new Flower Minnie Ears we’ve been seeing!

And over at Star Traders, we noticed they had the pretty Pearl Minnie Ears in stock.
