We recently spotted some runDisney merchandise at Disney World and it was exciting to see Mickey and friends running around on cups and shirts again.

In January, runners completed the Walt Disney World Virtual Marathon Weekend and Disney isn’t slowing down the pace! Today, Disney shared a sneak peek at one of the 2021 Virtual Disney Princess Half Marathon medals. 

The remaining runDisney races for spring 2021 have been converted to virtual events but, runDisney fans have been able to keep the fun going at home with themed crafts and merchandise for their virtual races. And, 2021 Princess Half Marathon runners just got a peek at one of the medals they can receive following the completion of their virtual race!

The virtual half marathon is themed after Belle from Beauty and the Beast and the medal features tons of details from the classic film! Belle herself adorns the medal with the enchanted rose and stained glass. And, you’re sure to remember your accomplishment forever with the race, year, and distance (13.1 miles!) on the medal.

The other distances feature princesses from other Disney films, including Ariel, Rapunzel, and Tiana! Guests participating will also receive a digital bib and finisher certificate, digital toolkit with start and finish line markers and mile markers, digital goody bag, virtual playlist, a digital Disney Gift Card for select races, and the option of an event shirt. The event will take place from February 18th – February 21st.
