California Grill in Disney World Gets Major Entree, Dessert, and Appetizer Updates!

It’s for another menu update one of our favorite Disney World restaurants!

Oak-fired Filet of Beef from California Grill

The California Grill is a signature restaurant located at the top of Disney’s Contemporary Resort. It offers sweeping views of the Magic Kingdom and a fine-dining menu. The restaurant reopened with a limited menu and we’ve seen this menu change twice since then. A few more changes have been made since our last update including the addition of rich desserts and new entrees!

Sushi and Appetizers

The Sunburnt roll was removed and replaced with the new Creamsicle Sushi Roll. The new roll includes Verlasso salmon, yellowtail, jicama, cream cheese, ikura, jalapeno, and zesty Florida citrus sauce.

Also, the tomato soup has been replaced with the winter squash soup made with roasted squash, maple biscotti, whipped brie, and candied hazelnuts.

Entrees

The Oak-fired Filet of Beef has gotten yet another update! Just last week the entree came with a side of Brentwood corn, Calabrian chili butter, creamy barely, and a sweet onion demi sauce. The entree now comes with root vegetable-apple pave, leek fondue, and Fig-onion demi.

The Poulet Rouge Chicken was also replaced. The Green Circle Chicken entree has been added and is made with truffle-potato rosti, baby turnips, roasted cipollini onions, and porcini cream.

Desserts

California Grill has swapped one creme brulee for another! The Apple Cinnamon Creme Brulee has been removed and replaced with the new White Chocolate Creme Brulee. The new dessert is made with cornflake crunch, sponge cake, coconut whipped ganache, and Plant City strawberry textures. Also, a new No Sugar Added Caramel Coffee Cheesecake was added. The coffee cheesecake is made with shortbread, brown butter caramel, coffee cream, and raspberry gel.
