YESSS! Our FAVORITE Peppermint Ice Cream Sammie Is BACK in Disney World!

We have tried so many holiday treats this year! SO MANY!

That includes Holiday Crepes, Holiday Bon Bons, Yule Logs, and a Chocolate and Peppermint Boba drink. But sometimes, we just crave some of our old favorites, and we get really excited when they return!

So when we popped over to Dino-Bite Snacks at Animal Kingdom and saw that the Double-Chocolate Peppermint Ice Cream Sandwich was back, we JUMPED ALL OVER THAT.

No joke…we LOVED this thing last year. This ice cream sandwich consists of two double-chocolate cookies with vanilla ice cream between them, rolled in peppermint candy pieces. Hello, old friend!!! Not only is it gorgeous, but we also love that there is a LOT of ice cream between those two cookies — they don’t skimp on the good stuff here!

However, these cookies were much staler than we remembered — did we get an old batch of cookies? We sure do hope so! We even gave them some time to soak up some of the melted ice cream, but that still didn’t soften them up. Even with a semi-stale cookie, we were still so happy to be reunited with this cookie!

We would also like to point out that there are a LOT of candy cane pieces on this thing — if you don’t like peppermint, you might want to skip out on it. You can try it for yourself for $6.99. Fingers crossed you get those fresh and uber yummy cookies that we’re used to from this location!
