Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort has some of the most beautiful holiday decorations in Disney World.

A few days ago we saw the giant tree go up in the lobby and other holiday decor all over the resort. And while there may not be any huge gingerbread displays this year, we found a pretty adorable substitute!
As we explored the Grand Floridian today, we noticed a special holiday surprise: mini gingerbread and chocolate sculptures have returned to the Grand Floridian!

The chimneys even have cotton candy coming out of them!

The decorations on these are incredibly detailed and a super fun addition to the resort! Plus, check out the little penguin friends on the bottom!

One of the houses had a wreath decoration that said “Grand Floridian Resort” to represent its home. How cute! We saw these mini houses last year for sale at the shop inside the giant gingerbread house. This year, they are on display for guests to enjoy!

Not only were there gingerbread houses, but we noticed some STUNNING chocolate sculptures too. This chocolate Santa is SO detailed, it looks like a figurine we could put on a shelf!

And how adorable is this little reindeer?!? Looks like he is all ready-to-go for the holidays with that dashing red bow!

You can find these in a glass case in the lobby near the DVC entrance of the resort. We are so glad we bumped into this treasure trove of holiday goodness! We’re still bummed there are no giant gingerbread houses this year, but at least the resort is still making a little Christmas magic with these little guys.
