Earlier today, we shared that the characters are coming BACK to breakfast at Chef Mickey’s in Disney’s Contemporary Resort!

This spot originally reopened without characters and with a family-style meal instead of the typical buffet-style meal that used to be served here.
Aside from the characters returning, Disney has also announced that new items will be added to the menu starting December 16th. Guests will get the chance to try the new Mickey’s “Celebration” Pancake, featuring whipped cream, celebration sprinkles, shimmering pixie dust and more. Shimmering pixie dust? Sign us up!

There will also be a new “Loaded” Potato-Cheese Casserole topped with smoked bacon crumbles and chives. Potato, cheese, and bacon — how could you go wrong?

Finally, Goofy’s Banana Bread French Toast will “combine unique flavors of banana bread baked in zesty orange-scented French toast batter, topped with Espresso-mascarpone cream, toasted bananas and chocolate crumbles.” This sounds absolutely delicious!

Disney has said that if you can’t decide which new item to try, you’ll be able to taste all three as part of “an all-you-care-to-eat family style feast with other traditional breakfast favorites.” Well, we know where we’ll be eating in December. We’ll definitely be checking out this spot when it reopens with the characters and we’ll let you know our thoughts on the new experience and food. Be sure to stay tuned for all the latest news!
