Tomorrow is May the fourth, or STAR WARS DAY, and we have our eyes on some new merchandise releasing for the occasion!

We have our galactic credits ready, our bounty list in hand, and it looks like shopDisney is looking to restore balance to the Force with a new, virtual queue for shoppers.

If you have tried to purchase collectors items from shopDisney in the past, like Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction, then you know the site can struggle with so much traffic.

Disney is looking to streamline the process by using a virtual queue during the launch of their Star Wars Day merchandise. The site reads “Enjoy our new virtual waiting room available on the shopDisney.com website for the best chance to purchase your May 4th collectibles.”

The site mentions the virtual queue is not available on mobile apps, but does not specify times for the waiting room. For now, the items are scheduled to release at 7AM PT on Monday, May 4th. We will keep you posted with any more shopDisney details, but may the force be with you!
