Who here misses Pirate Night and nightly animal towels on the Disney Cruise Line?? (We’re raising both our hands!)

Due to the recent closures company-wide for Disney, the Disney Cruise ships have all halted their sailings through May 17th. The Wonder has gone a step further by canceling departures through June, along with the Magic stopping its European cruises through June as well. However, the Disney Cruise Line is still sprinkling some magic on everyone during this time by using the creative talents of its Cast and Crew Members!

While they’re onboard the ships currently, Crew Members have been teaming up with Disney VoluntEARS to create multi-paneled murals for the Foundation for Hospital Art!

Once the panels featuring classic Disney characters and movies are finished, the Foundation for Hospital Art will take the new artwork to hospitals as a donation (and a sign of gratitude for the amazing healthcare workers). Cast and Crew Members are also packaging and decorating Disney greeting cards to send to the Starlight Children’s Foundation. Multiple medical facilities will receive these greeting cards to give to children who are hospitalized.

These donations from the Disney Cruise Line will be added to the excess food, rain ponchos, and Easter lilies that Disney has also recently donated to multiple foundations. Our hearts are so full right now!!
