With the current closure of the Disney parks and the postponement of some upcoming Disney films, things may be a little strange and sad for Disney fans right now.

Well, last night Disney acknowledged that fans may need some words of support. The company sent out an email (ours came from Disney Destinations) offering words of comfort and togetherness in a time where our sense of community is at the forefront of our minds.

The letter was addressed “To our Disney fans” and spoke of the power of magic, stories, and song. Disney also offered up some “virtual pixie dust” in the form of the brand-new Disney Magic Moments website. You can read the full letter below.

“To our Disney Fans,

You’ve been with us on this journey for generations, through magical Parks and wondrous ships, on guided adventures, island dreams and more. We love sharing it all with you.

Though we can’t be physically together today, we promise the power of magic is here to stay. You can feel it in the wonder of stories and the comfort of song. And in all the unforgettable memories we cherish.

Please know, when it’s time, all those magical Disney places and experiences you treasure will be waiting for you and your family and friends to enjoy once again—together.

Until then, be safe, stay well and keep the magic of Disney in your hearts.
