While we’ve been binge-watching Disney+, feeling nostalgic about our favorite attractions, baking up some new recipes, and going on shopping sprees (phew!!)…

…we’re ready to do some arts and crafts with a REAL Disney artist, all from the comfort of our homes!

Stephen Ketchum, an awesome artist at the Art of Animation Resort, is taking a moment to sprinkle magic on your day! And, we’re learning how to draw three (!!!) different Mickey cartoons that will make you say, “Oh boy!”

Way back when Walt first created Mickey Mouse, he had a very distinct look in the late 1920’s. The tutorial shows you that all it takes is a simple circle with some curved lines to make the mouse that started it all!

Then, you can move into a more contemporary Mickey by adding just a few more shapes and curves…

…and finally wrap things up with a “pie-eyed” Mickey (with an oval head this time) that fits right along with the animation style from Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway!

And, there you have it! You can create Mickey from all sorts of eras, whether you’re a beginning artist or you’ve been drawing for years.
