And, while we’ve tried some DELISH food thanks to the Body Language Mousse Cake and the Hades Hot Dog, we’re visiting our friends on the other side at Sleepy Hollow for the next sinister treat!
Dr. Facilier is looking deep into our heart and soul, giving us the Just Take Three Beignets! (We wonder what three cards our beignets represent…).

The set of three powdered sugar beignets is served with vanilla ice cream and topped with whipped cream and chocolate ganache.

And, while these beignets look just as terrifying as Dr. Facilier’s voodoo magic, we sadly have to say that they missed the mark with the flavor too! Compared to the other AH-MAZING beignets we’ve had on property (we’re talking boozy beignets at Port Orleans), the beignets were too thick and didn’t have that fluffy consistency that we love.

The ice cream and chocolate ganache on top didn’t soften them up either, which is pretty shocking! But remember, this is the first night of the event, so you may get a prettier and lighter batch when you give these a try! So don’t write them off just yet because you never know.
