Review! We’re Hooked on the NEW Firecracker Shrimp and Blackened Grouper Sandwich in Disney World!!

After a long day in the parks, sometimes lounging by the pool with some great food is the BEST way to chill out in Disney World.

And, we’re ready to relax over at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort with TWO new menu items (awww yeaaaah!).

If you’re looking for a place to grab a bite, Siestas Cantina is a great spot for eats and drinks while you relax by the pool. And, now it’s grilling up the Firecracker Shrimp and the Blacked Grouper Sandwich to add to the bar menu! YUM!!

You guys, the Firecracker Shrimp is popping with flavor! The shrimp are HUGE with just enough crunch and spicy sauce to make every bite savory and delicious. The cheese on top (yaaas!) is a nice touch that balances out the sauce with a little bit of sharpness.

While you’re given 12 pieces of shrimp, you also get a salad drizzled with MORE spicy sauce. For $12.99, this is practically a meal that’s super shareable (or a way to treat yo’self)!

Onto our next catch of the day, the Blackened Grouper Sandwich is honestly one of the best seafood ‘wiches we’ve ever had on property. The grouper is perfectly blackened, but also extremely moist and soft.

The fish combined with the creamy sauce, lemon, and lime pack the sandwich full of different sweet and sour flavors (that we couldn’t get enough of!!).

Plus, the side of thick fries have a little kick of spicy seasoning that ties the entire dish together. This is a seriously great quick-service option for only $14.99 that we would definitely get again!

While many of the other restaurants on property close after the lunch rush and before dinner, Siestas Cantina is a great place to nosh since it’s open daily from 9 AM to 10 PM!
