Bonjour! If you were looking for a reason to visit Disneyland Paris in 2020, we have TWO exciting celebrations that you can check out in the new year!
Starting in January, Disneyland Paris will highlight the Frozen and Star Wars franchises with shows, merchandise, and treats!
Returning in 2020 is Legends of the Force, which celebrates all things Star Wars. From January 11 through March 15, 2020, Disneyland Paris will have two thrilling shows, “Legends of a Galaxy Far, Far Away” and “Star Wars: A Galactic Celebration“. The latter will take place at night and will feature projections and other special effects.
Guests can also meet several of their favorite Star Wars characters like Chewbacca, Rey, and Kylo Ren. They will also have the opportunity to check out a new sequence that has been added to Star Tours: The Adventures Continue from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
NEW this year is a special celebration for Frozen. This event also begins on January 11 and will run through May 3, 2020.
This celebration will feature a new float which was inspired by Frozen 2 and is the tallest in Disneyland Paris. This new float will have Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, Olaf, Sven, and even the mysterious Nokk waterhorse. Fans can also check out Frozen: A Musical Invitation, at Animation Celebration in the Walt Disney Studios Park.
On select nights, “Magic Over Lake Disney: The Frozen Edition” will dazzle and gleam. This event will take place on January 24, 27, and 29. All of this, of course, is in anticipation of the new Frozen-themed land coming to Disneyland Paris, which will begin opening in phases in 2021.
And it wouldn’t be a celebration without the food and swag! Both celebrations will feature merchandise and yummy specialty treats found throughout the resort.
