So, with the announcement of the upcoming Disney+ reboot of the show, fans everywhere were thrilled to see Lizzie back in action. And, now, there’s even MORE exciting news ’cause another original cast member is returning to the show!

This truly MUST be what dreams are made of! Adam Lamberg, who played Gordo in Lizzie McGuire will be back again in the upcoming Disney+ reboot!

As Lizzie’s best friend and previous love interest, Gordo is intelligent, witty, and a joy to watch. As previously announced, Lamberg isn’t the only returning cast member to the reboot. He will be joined by Hilary Duff as Lizzie McGuire, Hallie Todd as Jo McGuire, Robert Carradine as Sam McGuire, and Jake Thomas as Matt McGuire.

This show picks up with an almost 30-year-old Lizzie living in New York City (the city of dreams, you guys) where she seems to have it all — a handsome boyfriend, chic apartment, and a fancy job as an assistant to a major interior designer. So, what happens when life gets rough? Lizzie finds help from her old and new friends, her family, and her forever 13-year-old animated inner self (she’s back, bb!).

Production on the reboot began earlier this month. We wonder if Lizzie will become an international pop star again this time around!
