Mickey Mouse has found a new location to meet and greet his adoring fans during Epcot’s on-going transformation.

You’ll recall that Character Spot closed in September to make way for a total redesign of Future World during Epcot’s epic transformation of this area into three distinct neighborhoods. Mickey moved temporarily to Innoventions West, but now he’s moving to a NEW permanent spot… for now… in the Imagination! pavilion.

Disney Parks Blog announced this morning that Mickey will be located “just inside the entrance” of the Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival that’s adjacent the Imagination!. Disney Parks Blog further says Mickey will be “greeting his fans and celebrating his on-screen stardom.” Exactly how we want him!
No word, yet, on FastPass options for meeting Mickey in this location or where Mickey’s friends may move, but should that info become available, we will update!
