And, while the D23 Expo got a first look at the film during the Walt Disney Studios Panel, audiences everywhere are getting a behind-the-scenes sneak peek from Maleficent herself!

The newest Maleficent: Mistress of Evil featurette is out, you guys, and we are SO HYPED for this movie!! Coming to theaters on October 18th, the sequel to Maleficent takes place years later, picking up the story with Aurora‘s engagement to Phillip and a brewing war between the humans and the Moors.

Although we are excited to see newcomers in the film (Michelle Pfeiffer? Yes, please!!), Angelina Jolie plays Maleficent with a wicked grace that makes the villain’s story come alive.
