Get a "First Look" Inside the Creation of Disney's Riviera Resort and the Disney World Skyliner Gondola System!

The openings for both the Disney World Skyliner Gondola System and Disney’s Riviera Resort are quickly approaching.

And today, Disney Vacation Club released a video that gives a glimpse into the creation of both the resort and the new Skyliner.

Called the Art of Inspiration, this first look will allow you to learn and see more about Disney’s newest Vacation Club resort — Disney’s Riviera Resort. This video also includes a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of the Disney World Skyliner Gondola System.

According to Disney, Walt “was always interested in fellow artists – where they studied, who their influences were and how they brought their creations to life.” In the video, Imagineers and artisans will “share their influences including their love of Disney and European artistry, and just how they are making Disney’s Riviera Resort into a place that both inspires and feels like home.”

We have been tracking the construction progress of both the Skyliner, which officially opens on September 29th, and Disney’s Riviera Resort, which is set to open on December 16th. You can view the progress of the Skyliner here and the resort here!

There are two videos, including a 29-second video, which can be viewed simply by visiting artofriviera.com. There’s also a 17-minute video, which can be viewed after logging in with your Disney Vacation Club Membership. Those who aren’t DVC Members can still access the video by giving a bit of information, like their address and email.
