Just in time for Easter, we have found a NEW Peeps Sprinkles cupcake!

Easter Candy Series at Sprinkles

This is the third cupcake in the Sprinkles Easter Candy Series.  And this definitely a favorite.

The cupcake is available in two colors in the Downtown Disney location in Disneyland — pink or yellow. You can choose from either the strawberry or lemon flavor. Either one actually represents both the cake AND frosting flavor.

That’s not all…it gets even BETTER. Toasted coconut shavings are pressed into the side of the frosting. We selected the strawberry for the tasting!

Considering the fact that both the cake and the frosting are the same flavor, we feared that the taste could be overwhelming.

HOWEVER, in true Sprinkles style and quality, the taste of the strawberry in the frosting was at just the right level and is balanced well with the even more mild strawberry taste in the cake.

Also, we were happy to be able to have a bite of the Peeps candy WITH each bite of the cake (versus the large chocolate eggs on the Robin Egg cupcakes or the Jelly Bean candy that came on the previous two Easter Candy Series cupcakes).

The new cupcake is available starting TODAY, April 15, and it will be available through April 21st. The cost is $5.95.
