On our weekly visit to Disney’s Animal Kingdom we spotted NEW cupcakes and mini snacks, lots of NEW merchandise and this guy!

What’s New on Animal Kingdom’s Discovery Island!

Guests will come face-to-face with this Penguin Display at the front of the park right after entering through the tapstiles. This park addition is in celebration of Earthday and the release of DisneyNature Penguins.

You might notice something a bit odd about the materials used to create this sculpture…

It’s made entirely out of TRASH!

The sculpture promotes small changes you can make to create a safer world for penguins and the other animals we share our planet with. It also gives us a peek at what to expect from the latest DisneyNature film!

No trip to Animal Kingdom is complete without a stop in Creature Comforts. Today we spotted this new addition to the Starbucks mug series — the Animal Kingdom “Been There” Mug!

Covered in doodles of your favorite park attractions, this mug can be yours for $19.99. These mugs tend to sell out fast — so get there soon if you want to add to your collection! And of course, there’s other park versions: check out the Magic Kingdom mug here, and the Epcot mug here!

What’s orange and black and totally on your must-get snack list!?! This Tiger Cupcake of course!

What’s New in Animal Kingdom’s Asia!

On our walk through Asia we saw that the Caravan Road Bar is still operational. This bar is usually only open during the busy season — see our previous visit here!

Nothing new here, but good to know you can grab a quick drink if you’re braving the crowds at the parks this week!

Those Joffrey’s Mini Donuts have arrived in Animal Kindom! They debuted at Royal Anandapur Tea Company this week and a few are even animal themed.

We spotted this cute lion…

What’s New in Animal Kingdom’s Pandora!

If you’re a big fan of the Night Blossom over at Pandora’s Pongu Pongu, great news — you can now get a Banshee to match your favorite drink!
