That’s why Sunday, January 22nd is set aside for us all to #RocktheDots in honor of Minnie on a VERY fitting occasion: National Polka Dot Day!

So, how can YOU celebrate Minnie — and her famous sense of style — on Sunday? Well, no matter where you are in the world, you can don your own polka dot look and tag any social media photos with #RocktheDots.

But if you find yourself in Disney Springs in Disney World or the Downtown Disney District in Disneyland, you’ll have even more opportunities to join in the fashion-focused fun with special photo ops, entertainment (dance parties from 1:00 – 5:00 pm, no matter which coast you’re on), and commemorative buttons available at select locations.

There will also be some discounts to be enjoyed by those SPORTING POLKA DOTS (seriously, you gotta put ‘em on!) at several merchandise locations… and a few restaurants are getting in on the deal, too!

At Downtown Disney in Disneyland, guests Rocking the Dots will be eligible for a 10% discount at Kayla’s Cakes, and two free beignets with purchase of a po-boy at Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen Express.

Special offerings at other locations will include Polka Dot Pancakes at Catal Restaurant, Polka Dot Italian Soda at Naples Ristorante e Pizzeria, Polka Dot Cookies at Napolini and the Taqueria at Tortilla Jo’s, Polka Dot Milkshakes (!!!) at UVA Bar & Cafe, Polka Dot Cupcakes at Sprinkles, and specialty Minnie Mouse treats at Marceline’s Confectionery.

Disney World Discounts and Offerings

On the east coast, Sprinkles in Disney Springs will also be serving up Polka Dot Cupcakes for as long as supplies last. And the following eateries will offer 10% discounts (for the dot-wearers, that is!): Portobello, Wolfgang Puck Grand Cafe, Erin McKenna’s Bakery NYC, and Paradiso 37.
