And this year, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort has come up with a fun way to involve YOU in planning the event!

Vote for the Featured Seminar at the Swan and Dolphin Food and Wine Classic

The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Food and Wine Classic is an event like no other. In addition to fun and informative food and beverage seminars, the foodcentric celebration includes an incredible array of Causeway Tasting Booths during the two-night showcase.

In a move that’s new for 2013, the Swan and Dolphin is asking their Facebook Fans to decide which of the following three seminars will be featured! Here are the options:

Cocktail 101: Stop by Crescent Terrace to enjoy a special presentation from one of our property’s bar-certified mixologists. Learn how to concoct and sample a few of the Swan and Dolphin guest-favorite cocktails.

Straight from the Still: Learn about the origins of America’s spirit, Bourbon. Sample some cocktails crafted with our mixologist’s favorite varieties.

The Truth About Blush: The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin celebrates PINKtober with this drink seminar. Join the female sommeliers of the hotel as they squash rumors of the “undistinguished blush wine” and reveal a variety of blushes any connoisseur can appreciate. All guests will leave this event thinking pink. Be sure to stop by and support Breast Cancer Awareness the wine-o way.

To have a voice in which seminar will be featured, just head over to the Swan and Dolphin’s Facebook Page and vote for your selection!

Voting is open through the end of May, and the winning seminar will be announced on May 31 via Facebook!

More About the Classic!

The 4th Annual Swan and Dolphin Food and Wine Classic will be held over two days on October 18 and 19, 2013. The causeway festival is held outdoors, and features live music, plus dozens of tasting booths offering samples from all of the restaurants within the two hotels.

In addition, more than 30 wineries will also be represented and will offer tastings to pair with the dishes.

Guests can also take part in a number of fun and informative Food and Wine Seminars, led by the hotel’s chefs and certified beverage experts. It’s an incredible way to spend a great evening!
